Due to confirmed reports of the sighting of the #Hilaal, UUCSA has determined that in South Africa, Rabial Thaani 1445 has ended with 29 days. 1st Jumaadal Ulaa 1445 therefore corresponds to Wed 15 November 2023.

 

The Jamiatul Ulama South Africa’s Central Hilaal Committee acts on behalf of UUCSA in the coordination of the sighting of the moon. The next sighting of the moon for the determination of the start of Jumaadal Aakhirah 1445 shall be after sunset on Wednesday 13 Dec 2023. At sunset in Johannesburg, the Hilâl will be 17 Hours 22 Minutes, in-sha-Allah.
