Ways to Give

Types of Donation

Lillah

General charity given purely for the pleasure of Allah. Lillah can be used for any aspect of JUSA's work including education, administration, welfare programmes and operations. No restrictions apply.

Sadaqah

Voluntary charity for specified causes. You may direct your Sadaqah to a particular project – humanitarian aid, Palestine relief, education support or needy families. Please specify your preference in the reference.

Zakaat

Zakaat is a mandatory pillar of Islam. JUSA distributes Zakaat to eligible recipients (the 8 categories). We ensure your Zakaat reaches those truly deserving. Please mark your payment clearly as "Zakaat".

Important: Zakaat cannot be used for operational expenses or non-eligible beneficiaries. Please clearly label Zakaat payments. For Zakaat-related queries, contact our Fatwa Department.
